Monaco Championship Rye House Winter Cup 2017

This is Harry in his first Karting championship. The Monaco Championship Rye House Winter Cup 2017.  The first race of the season is where they can determine where they start in the following races for qualifying. This was a real eye opener for us but Harry grew in confidence, going round the track on practice and qualifying, but during the race took a spin on the 4th lap and hit the tyre wall head on winding himself, and hurting his arm, so he had to retire. The other drivers were good so we needed to get him back into a kart straight away to get his confidence back.

Monaco Championship Round 9

Monaco Championship Round 9, Rye House 21st November 2017 finale, Harry finished an impressive 5th place, the track was damp so which he had not raced on before.

His 5th place finish made sure he finished in 5th Position with overall points in the whole championship which was outstanding as he started in 12th, and you can see how his confidence grew throughout the year with his final few races.

Monaco cup Round 8 with Rye house commentary from Sam green .

Tonight was the Monaco cup Round 8 and it was the night I felt the most for Harry.

Getting 3rd place on the grid and pulling away into second, before being nudged off on the back straight in the second lap, and into the tyre wall, he then got his head down and started a great fight back to claim 5th place, with his great driving being commended by the commentator and him receiving driver of the day for his perseverance.

A great evenings racing with some challenging conditions saw Harry finish in 5th place,with a fastest lap time of 46.374 seconds. Roll on to round 8 in a few weeks time.

Monaco championship Round 6 Rye House on the 22nd of August 2017. The extra practice has paid off with harry finishing a superb 4th position, missing out on the podium by 6 seconds and the fastest lap time of 46.338 seconds.

His best race by far in the championship to date.

Monaco championship Round 5 Rye House 18th July 2017 Part 1 with commentary from Sam green.

A grid start of 6th position was great, but unfortunately span on the first lap at pylon, putting Harry a lap down on everyone. By the time the marshals had got to him but still managed to finish 9th with a best lap time of 46.038 seconds.

Tricky race after a spin on the 3rd lap ended up finishing 11th with a fastest lap time of 47:36 seconds.
